Characteristics and Capabilities Parsminoo Co. as a credible entity in pastry, chocolate , snack ,biscuit , chewing gum and salted stick production industry, considers supply of healthy, high quality product at suitable price as the pivot of its activities. Production of quality product is a common duty in Minoo Chocolate & Confectionary Co. Therefore, for all operational and support sections, promotion of quality culture plays a crucial role in preservation of product quality up to the point where it reaches the consumer's hand. To this end, the Quality Control Department's personnel as the experts in charge of, and active in, quality issues in Minoo Chocolate & Confectionary Co. take necessary actions regarding establishment and preservation of quality of products, relying on the fact that quality is not created by chance. The Quality Control Department of Minoo Chocolate & Confectionary Co. compares and monitors production activities via a vis the factory's, and national and international standards; and has the task of intervening in case of occurrence of disconformities in the production line. The responsibilities of the Quality Control Department include codification of raw materials and packing standards based on national and international standards, codification of production process, and package contents, and informing the respective departments for acting in compliance thereof. Raw materials used and packing items are purchased only after assessment of different suppliers and their selection, and will be evaluated qualitatively after entering the factory, in order to ensure their conformity to the respective standards. Sanitary controls are conducted in the course of the production process and production of the end product, in addition to the control exerted as regards material composition, temperature, time, speed, and packaging. This Department is also responsible for controlling the conditions under which the products are stored in warehouse as well as their handling conditions in terms of sanitation, temperature and time. In case of existence of any disconformities, the responsibility lies with the Quality Control Department to make necessary examinations, and to take steps towards continuous improvement of related work processes and promotion of the product quality, eliminating the cause(s) of disconformities. Production Section This section, relying on all quality control, safety and sanitary principles, is one of the leading producers of chocolate, wafer , snack , biscuit , chewing gum and salted stick products, with a production capacity of about 100 tones per day. Planning Section Planning consists of reflecting on general and details of a plan. In other words, the objective of planning is to determine and to adopt methods and procedures that lead us to the best result. This includes various processes such as: 1. Forecast; 2. Target setting; 3. Policy making; 4. Codification of methods; 5. Schedule; and, 6. Budget Technical Section The Technical Section consisting of specialists in the areas of electricity and mechanics is effectively and widely present in every operation in the Minoo Chocolate & Confectionary Co. In the recent few years, with introduction of new and advanced machinery to the company, the Department's personnel, who accompanied the foreign specialists during all installation and commissioning processes, have reached acceptable level of know-how to such extent that they themselves are able to transfer know-how to others. |
