About Snack

In the occidental culture Snack is a sort of food, which is not a main meal (main meals are breakfast, lunch, and supper), and decreases people's hunger between main meals by provision of energy. In other words, snack is a food that is eaten between the main meals for the purpose of enjoying its flavor. Snacks were traditionally prepared using materials that are readily available at home: Cold sandwiches, nuts (hazelnut, peanut, walnut, chickpea and raisin), fruits, etc.

The shops having expanded their facilities, packed snacks have turned into a big business today and are designed in a manner that their transportation is easy, their consumption is fast, and their shelf life is long; and as compared to other common and conventional foods are more attractive and appetizing relative to other conventional foods.
